Past

Was born a baby girl to worse than mediocre but rich parents. Michiyo spent most of his childhood being dragged to different countries as his parents travelled, and being pressured to be successful while receiving no support to actually do so beyond tons of online tutors in place of regular schooling as he was unable to attend due to travel. Lost his left leg when he was 7, being bitten by a shark while swimming in what his father had said were safe waters, and then not being able to convince his parents to take him to a hospital, the couple only telling him not to ruin their vacation, wrapping a bandage around the giant bite marks. Michiyo snuck out of the hotel to drag himself to a hospital a couple days later, at which point the wound was so painfully infected that the only option was amputation. His parents of course just paid their way out of trouble and showered him in gifts including several stylised mobility aids to try getting back in their child's good graces.

Began training at 10 to become a k-pop star, managing to debut at 15 and staying an icon until he eventually quit at 28 due to various personal reasons that mainly consisted of being sick of management, unsolicited comments, the constant packed schedule and his parents. Travelled around taking on multiple jobs until eventually arriving to St.Ives.

Current

Works as a personal assistant to Clint Dasterdly, an annoying yet famous reality TV show producer. Michiyo is extremely over-qualified, so he does his job easily while acting like he is just as oblivious to his employer to all the super-powered shenanigans happening around them, since he wants absolutely nothing to do with that. Is constantly having to use his own power to keep people from attempting to strangle his boss.
